It should be a good game against the Bees

18 November 2016

Owen Coyle is anticipating a good match-up between two footballing sides when Brentford visit Ewood Park on Saturday.

Following the international break Rovers return to Ewood Park looking to extend their unbeaten home run to four games, but Coyle knows it won't be easy against Dean Smith's side.

The Bees have picked up a steady haul of points to date, sitting in 12th place in the table, but whilst the Rovers boss is expecting a tough encounter, he feels it is a match that they can claim a valuable three points from.

"We believe that we have got good enough players to go and win a tough game against a good Brentford side," the manager told Rovers PlayerHD.

"I think they are a good footballing team. I think it is a team that would hopefully suit our style of play because we don't mind standing toe-to-toe with good football teams as that is how we like to get about it.

"They do have pace on the counter-attack, they will pass and move the ball, and they have done very well.

"Their last two games have been live on TV, they defeated Queens Park Rangers, it was quite a tight game, and then last time out they lost at home to Fulham who fully deserved their victory as they were very good on the night.

"So Brentford will look to bounce back, but for us it is about getting out there, getting in their faces. We are Blackburn Rovers, we are at home so lets go win the game and lets do it in a style that is fitting for what the club is all about."
