Rovers' development squad are back on duty this Monday night when they travel to take on West Ham United.
After consecutive cup matches against Oldham Athletic, it is a return to Premier League 2 action with a match against the Hammers at the Chigwell Construction Stadium, the home of Dagenham & Redbridge FC.
Damien Johnson's young hopefuls will be eager to build on their Lancashire Senior cup progression against a West Ham side that they faced three times last season.
Rovers defeated the Hammers 4-3 in a topsy-turvy encounter at Ewood back in September, but were then knocked out of the Premier League Cup at the quarter-final stage as they went down 2-1.
In March the points were shared when the two sides last met in the league with a 1-1 draw at the Rush Green Stadium.
A young squad has travelled south for this evening's match. Kick-off at Dagenham is at 7.00pm.
