Owen Coyle is insistent that if Rovers can continue to put in the performances, then the results will follow.
After last Saturday's draw at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers, Rovers are back on their travels before the international break with a tough match against Aston Villa.
The manager felt his side did enough to deserve all three points against Wolves and believes if they can repeat that display at Villa Park, then they'll return north with something from the game.
"What we have to do is to keep replicating those performances because for huge parts of that game we played very well against a team that has invested heavily in their squad," Coyle told Rovers PlayerHD.
"We now go to Aston Villa who have had a mini-resurgence in respect of Steve Bruce coming in and getting a little lift.
"I watched their game against Birmingham last weekend and in the Championship we know there's a coat of paint between all the teams so we know if we are at our best we can got to Aston Villa and win that game and that is what we have got to do.
"We've got to make sure that we are at our best for that game. They've got some good players, they've spent 60 or 70 million on their team.
"But regardless of that we know that we have good players that can win games, so we've got to go and replicate those performances that we have given."
