Matt Kilgallon was delighted to reward the fans for their backing with all three points against Rotherham United on Saturday.
The noise from the away end was non-stop from start to finish at the New York Stadium as Shane Duffy's early header clinched the victory.
Kilgallon was impressed with the backing that the side received and hopes for more of the same this weekend at Ewood Park in the final game of the season against Reading.
"The fans were unbelievable, they were brilliant," the defender told Rovers PlayerHD.
"They packed it out behind the goal and you could hear them throughout, they were behind us cheering us on, it was enjoyable.
"I think that made us play as well, we were a lot better and we defended a lot better with no sloppy goals.
"We defended every long throw that came in, every corner and did well. That is what you have to do against Rotherham because they work on second balls and flick-ons and I thought we were very professional, it was a good performance.
"We've one game to go and it is a good day the last game of the season so it would be nice if we could get another three points."
