It will be a proud moment for Grant Hanley when he leads out Rovers this Saturday lunchtime.
For the former Academy graduate will make his 200th appearance for the club.
Hanley admits time has flown by since his debut on the final day of the 2009/2010 campaign, but he'll be treating today's match against Reading as just another game.
"It is a good achievement for me, I'm happy with that," Hanley told Rovers PlayerHD.
"To play 200 games for this club is brilliant and it is something I am really proud of. But it will be just another game and concentrate on what we need to do to win the game on Saturday.
"It doesn't seem too long ago that I made my debut, but I can't really remember a lot about it.
"I found out the day before I was going to be playing and I told my family, but it was quite surreal because it happened quite quickly.
"It was a good day, it was the last day of the season away at Aston Villa and we won 1-0. I think it was an own goal, but Junior (Hoilett) tried to claim it.
"It was the first time I'd played in front of any sort of crowd really, there was over 40,000 there so it was the first time I had played in front of more than a couple of hundred.
"When you come through the youth system there are times when you feel you are a million miles away and you are never going to play in the first team.
"But you just need to keep working hard and keep focusing on what you want to achieve. It proves if you work hard you can get there."
