Rovers' Under-21s are back on their travels this Monday night when they face West Ham United.

Damien Johnson's side will look to build on last week's 2-1 win over Swansea City when they take on the Hammers at Rush Green.

The two sides met in Romford as recently as January with West Ham defeating Rovers 2-1 in the U21 Premier League Cup so the Lancashire club will be looking to avenge that defeat.

It was a seven-goal thriller at Ewood Park in the corresponding league fixture back in September, with Rovers coming from behind three times before eventually running out 4-3 winners.

With the first team in action at home to Birmingham City, Johnson has named a similar squad to the one that defeated Swansea seven days ago with just one change as Andy Fisher replaces Simon Eastwood in goal.

WEST HAM: Spiegel, Byram, Neufville, Dobson, Henry, Rice (c), Diangana, Makasi, Ford, Lewis, Hendrie.

Subs: Pike, Matrevics (GK), Sylvestre, Kemp, Hector-Ingram.

ROVERS: Fisher, Travis, Askew, Tomlinson, Lavelle (c), Wharton, Mahoney, Hardcastle, Forrester, Carson, Thomson.

Subs: Platt, Crump (GK), Mansell, Joel, Rankin-Costello.
