There could be one or two changes

Paul Lambert may be tempted to freshen up his starting eleven for tonight's trip to take on Ipswich Town.

As Rovers prepare to play their tenth match in a month, the Rovers boss admits that with the amount of games that have been played, he could make changes for the Portman Road match.

"We are coming to the tail end of it now, game ten of eleven games, and it is a big, big, ask," said Lambert.

"We need to look at something with these games on Tuesday and Saturday, because whilst I never thought we deserved to lose the game against Leeds, I thought there was a lot of tired brains and decision-making.

"You could see it in their final pass, I just knew myself it was probably a game too much.

"So there might be a case for one or two changes, there's a chance to do, it is something that we'll look at to maybe give some of the lads a break.

"We'll be more or less the same squad that features, whether I decide to change it or not we'll have to wait and see."

Rovers fans who haven't yet purchased tickets for tonight's league match with Ipswich Town can pay on the day.

Tickets for the Portman Road will go off sale at Ewood Park at 11am this Tuesday, with tickets on sale at the ground on the night - cash only from turnstiles 10 and 11.
