Corry Evans believes Rovers' upturn in performances and results is down to the team getting used to working under Paul Lambert.

After four consecutive home league victories, Rovers are one of the form teams of the Championship, with the midfielder believing that the manager has played a big part.

"Everyone has got into the manager's way of playing now, we know what they expect and what way we need to play and I think you can see it with our performances," Evans told Radio Rovers.

"When a new manager comes in there's the initial hype and everyone does really well to try and impress. We had a good start and it sort of faded away a bit but everyone has now got used to the way he wants to play and what he expects from us and I think we are showing it now.

"Obviously we've had a couple of defeats but performance-wise we've been pretty good in those games and we've just got to take confidence and keep going."

Leeds United are the visitors to Ewood Park in Saturday's lunchtime clash and the Northern Ireland international expects the side to give their opponents a tough time.

He added: "Teams coming to Ewood Park find it hard now and that is what we need to create here. The type of environment where it is tough for away teams to come and get results.

"Leeds will come in their numbers and it will be a really good atmosphere and it is going to be another tough game. But if we keep playing like we have in the last month and keep our performance levels high then hopefully we can get three points again on Saturday."
