Maintain that belief and confidence

Tommy Spurr is hoping to send his family home disappointed when Rovers take on Leeds United this Saturday lunchtime.

Rovers are unbeaten against their Roses rivals in the last eight encounters, with Spurr, who scored the winner against the Whites in November 2013, eager to extend that run.

The popular full back was born in Leeds, but insists all family loyalty will go out of the window come the 12.30pm kick-off.

"It would be nice to score again here and hopefully beat them again," Spurr told Radio Rovers.

"I've got quite a lot of family coming over so hopefully they'll go home disappointed.

"I don't score many so it was nice to get one against Leeds. But I'd take just beating them and moving above them in the league.

"Right now it is about winning as many games as we can and we believe we can beat anybody, we've got the belief and confidence that we can go into games and go and win them."

Tickets for today's match are on open sale up until the 12.30pm kick-off with prices starting from £22 for Adults, £14 for Seniors, £14 for 18-21 year-olds and from £9 for Juniors aged 17 and under.

Book online today at and collect your tickets from the Roverstore collection point before kick-off.
