Rovers will run the rule over Corry Evans on Friday before deciding wether the midfielder will be fit for Saturday's trip to Burnley.
The Northern Ireland international missed the midweek victory over Middlesbrough with an ankle injury, but provided he comes through training tomorrow unscathed, he could come back into contention for the lunchtime clash.
"We'll see how Corry is tomorrow," said boss Paul Lambert on Thursday. "That is one that we'll have a look at.
"If he comes through then we'll have a look at him and decide whether he's ready to travel. But it will depend on Corry, he'll know his own ankle and see how he feels himself."
If fit, the inclusion of Evans is likely to be the only change to a Rovers squad that is performing well despite the heavy fixture schedule.
"Everbody is fine, the atmosphere will take everybody on," added the Scot. "It will not be when you go there and feel leggy, the atmosphere will carry it through and we'll need big performances.
"Everybody knows that we played a really good game on Tuesday and we'll go and try and do it again on Saturday."
