Grant Hanley was on the winning side for Scotland as they made it back-to-back 1-0 wins over the international period.

Last Thursday saw Gordon Strachan's side defeat the Czech Republic by a single goal and they repeated that result at Hampden Park against Denmark.

Hanley, who is suspended for this weekend's league match with Preston following his sending off in the win over Brentford, played the full match as Matt Ritchie's 8th minute goal proved to be the winner.

It was disappointment for Lee Williamson overnight as Jamaica went down 3-0 to Costa Rica.

The Rovers midfielder started the match in San Jose, but made way at the break with the home side 2-0 up thanks to goals from Celso Borges and Bryan Ruiz.

But any hopes of a second half comeback ended when Johan Venegas added a third goal.

The result leaves the Reggae Boyz third in their group, six points behind league leaders Costa Rica with two games to play. The top two teams go through.

Shane Duffy was an unused substitute as the Republic of Ireland drew 2-2 with Slovakia.
