Paul Lambert was full of praise for Danny Graham following the striker's match-winning performance on Tuesday night.
The on-loan striker scored Rovers' second in their 2-1 victory over Middlesbrough at Ewood to dent the visiting side's promotion hopes.
The Rovers boss was delighted with Graham's display, who was fully deserving of his man-of-the-match award.
"I thought Danny Graham was outstanding," the manager told Radio Rovers.
"His work-rate, endeavour, his skill, he showed everything that a modern-day player needs.
"He was a threat all night, their back two was a bit shaky the whole night with Danny.
"His whole work-rate and his actual game, he's a threat, I think he is really enjoying his football as well."
Rovers are back in action this Saturday when they make the short journey to take on Burnley.
