Shane Duffy is keen for Rovers to continue their improved showing on home soil with another Ewood victory this Tuesday evening.

Rovers face Middlesbrough tonight looking to make it three home league wins in a row and back-to-back league triumphs.

The defender admits the team haven't performed as well as they should have in front of the home support this season, but can approach tonight's game against Boro with renewed enthusiasm based on the point they gained at the Riverside at the beginning of last month.

"If you look at the way that we played up there we can take plenty of confidence from it," Duffy told Radio Rovers.

"They know it won't be easy coming here, and if we do what we did up there and take a few more chances then I'm quite confident we can beat them.

"But we haven't made it hard enough at Ewood for teams to come. We've not had enough wins here so hopefully between now and the end of the season we can gather up a few more wins for the fans.

"We know that we've another tough game on Tuesday but we'll be right up for it."

Tickets for tonight's match against Middlesbrough are on open sale up to the 7.45pm kick-off priced from £22 Adults, £14 for Seniors and 18-21 year-olds, Juniors under 18 from just £9.
