Paul Lambert is eager to see Rovers extend their current run of home results when they take on Leeds United at Ewood this Saturday 12.30pm.

Tuesday's impressive 2-0 win over Birmingham City was Rovers' fourth consecutive home victory in the league, and that can be stretched to five for the first time since 2006 if they can claim three points against the team a place above them in the Championship table.

Despite the heavy fixture schedule, the manager believes the team are playing well, and that they can approach this afternoon's match full of confidence.

"Our objective is to get another three points," Lambert told Rovers PlayerHD.

"We'll go and if we can keep this form that we've been showing of late then hopefully we can win. It is a tough match, but we are certainly playing well enough to win games.

"The lads are playing with a lot of instinct in their game and I think their decision making is very good and I think we have got really good players.

"Winning gives you the confidence that you are doing something well, the team for the last few games now has been very, very, good.

"We are churning out game after game and performing at a really high level so I think the feeling of that has certainly helped us.

"We are going into games that we expect to win and I think that is a great feeling. It doesn't matter how many games are coming thick and fast you know you've got to go and win and Saturday will be no different."
