Danny Graham was delighted that Rovers were able to show the right reaction from last weekend's disappointment with a comfortable 2-0 win over Birmingham on Tuesday night.
A first league goal from Tony Watt and a third in Rovers colours for strike-partner Graham made it a satisfactory evening at Ewood.
The on-loan forward was pleased with the way the team bounced back from the Burnley loss, and is now looking forward to facing Leeds at home this Saturday lunchtime.
"It has been a great night and a great reaction from Saturday's defeat which we all felt unlucky not to get something out of the derby," Graham told Radio Rovers after the game.
"But it is about how you bounce back and I think we have done that ever so well.
"It is another three points and we go again on Saturday. The lads have put in a massive shift but we have to recover again as the games keep coming thick and fast.
"To be getting results and playing well is massive, so the quicker the games come along the better.
"We haven't really trained a lot to be honest, to be fair to the gaffer he has looked after us all and that seems to be showing when we are going into games.
"So we'll have a couple of days recovery now and then go again on Saturday."
Rovers are back in action this Saturday when Leeds United are the visitors to Ewood Park.
