Shane Duffy hopes to pull on the green shirt of Ireland this evening when they get their Euro 2016 campaign under way against Sweden.
After a strong end to the league season, the Rovers defender could make the starting starting XI at the Stade de France.
Duffy feels that the confidence is there in the Irish camp to be a success in France and that they can approach the 5pm match with no fear.
"The way the Irish are set up, and the mentality of the squad, we don't fear anyone," said Duffy. "Teams won't want to play us, they know they won't be getting an easy game.
"Hopefully we can get off to a good start against Sweden. If we can get three points on the board against them then you never know.
"We took four points off Germany in qualifying, and, if Belgium don't win their first game, the pressure may come on them. You never know.
"You want to test yourself against the best. Ibrahimovic is world class but that's the calibre of player you want to play against. You want to test yourself at the highest level. Whoever plays I'm sure will give him a good game and give their best."
