June trials to join Ladies Reserves

For the 2016/17 season Rovers Ladies will continue a development team to support the growth of the Blackburn Rovers Ladies 1st team.

The development squad will train alongside the ladies twice per week and play Sunday afternoon fixtures competing in the FA Women’s Premier Reserve Division (North)

Players will be provided with top class training facilities including Blackburn Rovers senior Training Centre. All players will have medical access at both training sessions and on match days. Blackburn Rovers LFC currently compete in the FA Women’s Premier League.

Trials for Blackburn Rovers LFC will take place on June 7th, 14th & 21st between 7.30pm and 9.15pm at Darwen Aldridge Community Academy (3G) - BB3 3HD.

Furthermore, to support the education and football development of each player we are teaming up with Darwen Aldridge Community Academy.

As a Blackburn Rovers LFC player you can study and train with the team, combining a bespoke educational programme to suit your chosen study pathway. This may include A Levels and/or BTEC quali cations. The football programme will include regular training sessions on-site at the Sixth Form using the superb facilities.

The training programme will concentrate on the Futsal aspect of training and you will be entered into the monthly regional Futsal competition at the purpose built Leeds National Futsal Arena.

Darwen Aldridge Community Academy is a good sixth form and offers a suite of A-Level and Vocational programmes including A-Level Physical Education; A-Level Biology; A-Level Law; A-Level Psychology; BTEC Sport and Uniformed Public Services.
