After being unveiled as the club's new manager Owen Coyle can't wait to get started.
The 49-year-old takes charge knowing that plenty of hard work will be required as he bids to get Rovers back to the upper echelons of English football.
The Scot is excited by the challenge that lies ahead and is looking forward after penning a two-year deal.
"It is great to be here, it is an outstanding club, full of history, full of tradition," said the new Rovers boss.
"I certainly know from my nine years in the north west that it is a huge club and a club that we want to get back to where we believe it should be.
"That will take hard work, but that hard work doesn't phase us and we look forward to the challenge and it is exciting times.
"It has been a whirlwind few days, it is all good and we are all looking forward to it."
