Corry Evans was an unused substitute as Northern Ireland started their Euro 2016 campaign with a narrow 1-0 defeat to Poland.

The Rovers midfielder saw no involvement in Nice as a 51st minute goal from Arkadiusz Milik saw the Poles take all three points.

Northern Ireland are next in action this Thursday when they take on a Ukraine side that also lost their opener on Sunday after going down 2-0 to Germany.
