Saturday night saw Rovers duo Corry Evans and Grant Hanley both represent their respective countries in international friendly matches.
In Trnava, Northern Ireland completed their preparations for Euro 2016 with a goalless draw against fellow qualifiers Slovakia, but it was a disappointing night for Scotland in Metz as they suffered 3-0 loss to tournament hosts France.
Evans started the match on the bench for the Northern Irish, but was introduced six minutes from time. Whilst Hanley played the full game for Gordon Strachan's side as a first half double from Olivier Giroud, and a header from Arsenal team-mate Laurent Koscielny condemned the Scots to defeat.
Scotland, who failed to qualify for the Euros, have now completed their summer programme, but Northern Ireland have a big few weeks ahead.
They start their Euro 2016 campaign on June 12th against Poland, before facing Ukraine and Germany in their group.
