Winger Liam Feeney believes it is an exciting time to be re-joining the club.
The 29-year-old, who has penned a two-year deal at Ewood Park following his release from Bolton Wanderers, becomes Owen Coyle’s fourth summer signing and he says the manager played a major part in his decision to join.
"I feel good about it,” said Feeney, who played six games for the club on loan from Millwall during the tail end of the 2013-14 season.
“I was here before on loan for a short spell, so it is good to finally be back permanently and I think it is going to be an exciting season for the club.
"Obviously I'd been here before and I knew about the stature of the club, the stadium, the training facilities and the fans’ support.
"Speaking to the manager and how positive he was, I thought nothing but good things about it, so it is an exciting time and something that I can be a part of.
"The way he spoke to me filled me with a lot of confidence and he outlined what he wants to do, so it should be really good. I'm just glad I can be a part of that and hopefully we can have a successful season."
