Owen Coyle hopes to welcome back several stars for Saturday's trip to the seaside to face Blackpool.
Craig Conway (thigh), Ben Marshall (illness) and Connor Mahoney (hamstring), all missed Tuesday night's draw at Rochdale but could against the Tangerines.
And also in with a chance of returning for the Bloomfield Road friendly are Euro 2016 duo Corry Evans and Shane Duffy.
The pair were given extra time off after their exploits in France, but they returned to training on Monday with the manager admitting that they could play some part.
"Hopefully on Saturday we'll have one or two coming back," said the Rovers boss.
"Shane Duffy and Corry Evans, we'll look to see if they can play some part of that.
"We gave them the three week break because as soon as the season finished they were back in preparation for the Euros.
"But they have come back in decent shape so this week has given us the opportunity to build on that and hopefully we can give them some minutes on Saturday.
"I think Corry had one or two little niggles in pre-season last year so we have to make sure that we are careful with that one, but certainly they are both moving in the right direction and hopefully they can feature on Saturday at Blackpool.
"Ben Marshall and Craig Conway should both be fit as well. So that will give us some more options and a bit of freshness as well."
Just a handful of tickets remain on sale at Ewood priced at £10.00 Adults, £5.00 Seniors (60 & over), and Juniors (17 & Under) for £2.00.
But fans can also pay on the day, cash only from the ticket kiosk adjacent to the away stand.
