Rovers Ladies have bolstered their ranks with the capture of Emma Rankin from Bradford City.
The 26-year-old winger, who makes the move across the Pennines for the forthcoming campaign, is confident that her experience can help the Rovers.
"I think this is a fantastic opportunity, the team and the girls are very sociable and the support network around the team is really good," said Rankin.
"I'm hoping my experience on and off the field will help, especially towards the younger players as there are many around. I've played many positions so I think I will be able to help across the entire team."
Rankin, who saw spells with both Bradford City and Leeds United hampered by knee injuries, is eager to get a regular run in the team and to contribute to the goals column.
She added: "I can't wait to get playing, my target really is to stay fit and try to have an impact. I want to score as many as I can for the team."
Manager Gemma Donnelly has known Rankin since the pair worked together for the club's Under-16's team and says it is fantastic to have a reunion with her.
"I am so pleased to be re-united with Emma," added Donnelly.
"She joined Rovers some years ago as a teenager and we worked together with the Under-16's. Not only is she magnificent on the ball, she is versatile, tenacious, and brave. Her work ethic for the team is amazing too.
"We have kept in touch since Emma went to university and it's nice to take this opportunity to bring her back. I'm exciting to work with such a talented individual and she will fit into the squad nicely."
