The new 2016-17 Blackburn Rovers home kit has gone on sale this Thursday morning.
The shirt, which is the first official release in the club’s five-year partnership with Umbro, features the coordinates of Ewood Park in the inner back neck, 53.7286° N, 2.4892° W, complete with a ‘Rovers FC’ graphic – a nod to the famous Blackburn End of the club’s historic home. These subtle touches mean both players and fans will take a piece of home with them, wherever they are in the world.
The shirt is made from a lightweight polyester micro eyelet, increasing breathability and comfort and sees the design revert back to the famous blue and white halves that are synonymous with Rovers’ success in years gone by. The classic V-neck collar and sleeve banding also play host to the striking red of the Lancashire rose.
The new kit is available to buy in store or online at www.roverstore.co.uk. The shirt is available in Adult sizes, including Ladies fitted shirts, for £48, with Juniors and infants at £35.
Shorts and socks are £25 and £10 respectively in adult sizes, and £18 and £9 in Junior sizes.
Season ticket holders can also get £10 off the cost of a shirt, look out for the email voucher being sent out.
Rovers will wear the kit for the first time during their pre-season fixture against SV Ried in Austria this Saturday.
