We'll need to be at our best

Darragh Lenihan knows what to expect when Rovers face Oxford United in the Emirates FA Cup tomorrow afternoon.

The Republic of Ireland Under-21 captain spent a successful loan spell with League Two Burton Albion last season and came up against Saturday's opponents.

Burton defeated Oxford on that occasion, but with the U's flying high in the league this season, Lenihan knows it will be tough game to overcome.

"We all know it is going to be a difficult game," said the Irishman.

"Oxford are doing well in League Two and they've previously knocked out a Premier League side in Swansea so we all know that it is going to be a tough, competitive game and we'll need to be at our best to beat them.

"We know what to expect and we all know it is going to be a tough game. We've been watching clips of them and they are very good.

"They like to pass the ball from the back and they have a few good players. I know Callum O'Dowda and Alex MacDonald from the Irish team and playing for Burton so I know it is going to be a tough game.

"The FA Cup is a great competition to go far but you always hear of the underdog coming through, so we just have to go and give them a good game, show them what we are good at and hopefully we can beat them and move onto the next round."
