Paul Lambert has revealed that they have agreed with Leicester City to retain Tom Lawrence on loan for the rest of the season, whilst Doneil Henry has returned to West Ham United.
Loan deals for the pair ended this Sunday, but whilst defender Henry will return to his parent club after just one substitute appearance in his second loan spell with Rovers, Lambert is hopeful that Lawrence will remain at Ewood Park for the second half of the campaign.
"Doneil is on his way back to West Ham, and with Tom we'll try to do something," said Lambert on Saturday.
"We've spoke to Leicester and they are happy for him to come here for the rest of the season which is good.
"We are happy to try and extend it so we'll work on that in the next few games.
"I've spoke to Tom in the last few days and he seems to be quite happy so hopefully we'll get that done."
