Our attitude has to be right

Paul Lambert has called on his squad to be prepared for the fight when they take on Oxford United in the Emirates FA Cup fourth round on Saturday.

After avoiding a cup upset with their victory over Newport County, Rovers now face another League Two team and a further potential banana-skin.

Michael Appleton's side have already knocked out Premier League Swansea City on their way to this stage of the competition, so Lambert is fully aware of the threat they possess.

"You have to be ready for and be really focussed on it," said the Rovers boss.

"It is going to be a really hard game, they are playing well to be fair to them, they are doing well in their league.

"They got a terrific result against Swansea and we know it is going to be a full house down there as well with a great atmosphere.

"But our attitude has to be right and we have to get on the front foot and try to get through to the next round.

"Their crowd will be up for it, they'll be up for it, and it is up to us to be matching that, that is what we have to do.

"If we match that then hopefully you get a foothold in the game and you can go and impose yourself."
