Paul Lambert felt ridiculous errors lead to his team's downfall as Hull City defeated Rovers 2-0 at Ewood Park.
After a goalless first half, two goals in the space of ten minutes from Abel Hernandez and Mohamed Diame saw the visitors claim all three points.
The manager was disappointed with the way the Rovers performed, admitting too many of the team were below par.
"The frustrating thing is that both of their goals are from our mistakes," the manager told Radio Rovers.
"We actually had the ball on the two occasions and lost it twice and Hull are very good at playing off the mistakes so that is the frustrating thing.
"But we got what we deserved, that wasn't good enough.
"We told the players what to expect but the two goals are really disappointing. Tommy losing it for the first one and then Darragh's pass for the second.
"At this level with the team that Hull of got they are going to punish you.
"I didn't think we did enough, there was nothing in it in the first half, I thought it was a flat game, two teams having the ball when they wanted it. But in the second half we made two ridiculous errors.
"We had a couple of corners and Wardy had a chance at the back post and Ben had a shot. I thought he was the only plus point today, there were too many off their game."
