Rovers' Under-18s will face familiar foes in the forthcoming semi-finals of the FA Youth Cup.
After defeating Luton Town last Tuesday night, the reward for the young Rovers is a two-legged tie against current holders Chelsea after they defeated Reading 2-1 on Friday evening.
The two sides certainly aren't strangers having faced each other twice in the competition in recent years.
In 2010 Rovers were defeated in the last four 5-0 on aggregate, then two years later both teams reached the Youth Cup final, with the London club getting the better of Rovers over two legs, winning 4-1 on aggregate.
Whilst it is a third semi-final appearance in six years for Rovers, Chelsea have been in each of the last four finals, winning the trophy on three occasions.
The dates for the semi-finals are yet to be confirmed, but Ewood Park will play host to the first leg, before the second leg takes place at Stamford Bridge.
