Paul Lambert hopes to welcome Craig Conway and Simeon Jackson back into the squad for Saturday's match with MK Dons.

The pair missed Tuesday night's game at Derby County through illness and injury, but they could come into contention for the Ewood Park clash.

"Craig had a virus, he wasn't well, and Simeon's groin was giving him a little bit of a problem," explained the Rovers boss.

"We couldn't go with Simeon definitely because we weren't sure if he was going to be match fit with his groin, and Craig with his illness, was a dangerous situation to include him."

One player who is definitely available once more is midfielder Chris Taylor.

Taylor has served his one-match suspension following his sending off against West Ham United in the FA Cup.

Danny Guthrie, Nathan Delfouneso, Lee Williamson and Jason Lowe continue to make good progress in their recovery from injury, but none are expected to be fit in time for tomorrow's match.
