Paul Lambert believes his squad now has the flexibility to be changeable when required.
With six signings in January, the Scot feels there is now more versatility amongst the playing staff for him to vary his formation and tactics.
Last Saturday saw Lambert employ a midfield diamond with Jordi Gomez at the tip behind forward Tony Watt and Danny Graham and was impressed with the way it worked.
"That is the beauty about it, it is flexible now," said Lambert of his squad.
"I can change to whatever system I want to do and we could possibly change for this game.
"It is something I'll look at but I've now got the option of playing a number of systems.
"We played a diamond at Cardiff when we had Jordan, Fode and Tom Lawrence, and we played with a front three last week of Watt, Gomez and Graham, and it was a different kettle of fish.
"We had lads with experience, lads that know the game, and I'm delighted with the way they performed last week.
"We can now play any system because the options have been created with the lads coming in.
"With the amount of games coming up everybody is going to play. It is a gruelling schedule and it is something that we are going to have to manage.
"We'll have to train right and recover right and get the ready for the games. I've never played 11 games in 36 days so I don't know but it will be a tough little run."
