Simeon Jackson is looking forward to what will be a great occasion when Rovers take on West Ham United in tomorrow's FA Cup 5th round tie.

The Canadian international believes Rovers can enjoy the distraction of the coveted cup competition, but knows it won't be easy against a West Ham side that have impressed in the Premier League this season.

But with Rovers in high spirits following Tuesday's win over Fulham, for forward believes anything can happen on the day.

"It is going to be a great day for us at home and hopefully we can turn them over," Jackson told Radio Rovers.

"It is a little distraction from the league but one that we are definitely going to enjoy.

"After the performance against Fulham we'd rather have a league game but I am delighted to be where we are in the FA Cup and to enjoy the occasion on Sunday.

"They've been flying, they are a great side with great players, so it will be a big test for us with them coming here but the boys will be in good spirits.

"You never know, it is a one-off match, they are coming to our patch, we'll take our win into the weekend and make it difficult for them.

"It is a big occasion for us so the more fans that are there to cheer us on the better."

Fans who haven't yet purchased their tickets for Sunday's match are advised to get them well in advance of the 2.00pm kick-off as large queues at the ticket office are anticipated.

Database members can opt to order online at and collect them from the Roverstore collection point before kick-off.

The Roverstore at Ewood Park will be open from 10.00am on Sunday.
