Boss Paul Lambert was delighted once again with the display of Darragh Lenihan in Saturday's draw with Middlesbrough.
The Republic of Ireland Under-21 captain impressed as Rovers picked up a point at high-flying Boro, with the manager pleased with the midfielder's performance.
Lenihan has made eight appearances for Rovers this season, seven of which have come since Lambert has took charge.
"He was very good was the young lad," said the manager.
"Even more so because he good booked early in the first half and then he's got to play with his head. I thought he was excellent.
"I've always liked Darragh since I came through the door, he has a great attitude to the game, he'll make mistakes, he'll be rash - like any young player - but regarding his enthusiasm and his will to work, it was different class."
Lenihan and Rovers are back in action next Saturday when they take on Hull City at Ewood Park.
Tickets are on open sale up until the 3.00pm kick-off, priced from £22 for Adults, from £14 Seniors and 18-21yrs and from £9 Juniors aged 17 and under.
