Boss Paul Lambert will leave it until the last possible minute to give Grant Hanley, Danny Graham, and Hope Akpan a chance of making tomorrow night's match against Fulham.
Hanley (shoulder) and Graham (hamstring) both failed fitness tests ahead of the Hull City game on Saturday, whilst Akpan pulled out after the warm-up due to illness.
"We'll have to wait until the last minute to see how they are," said the manager.
"Hope trained this morning after his bug, and we'll see how Danny and Grant are tomorrow. They did little bits this morning so we'll give them every chance to see how they feel."
Lambert admitted Rovers missed the trio in the Tigers loss as he wasn't planning on changing the side that impressed in the draw at Middlesbrough.
He added: "Grant has been in really good form for us, he's been excellent. And even Danny Graham in the short time that he has been here has been excellent for us.
"They are the spine of your side. I think it is important that the spine of your team is strong and those two are massive for us, especially in the Middlesbrough game.
"So those were three changes that I never expected to make because we played ever so well at Middlesbrough."
Rovers are still without Jason Lowe, Danny Guthrie, Lee Williamson and Nathan Delfouneso, but provided international clearance comes through in time, new loan signing Matt Grimes will be involved.
"He'll be in the squad definitely," confirmed Lambert. "Even though he may not be up to speed from the start but he's a very good footballer, I think people will be surprised at how talented he is."
