Paul Lambert insists Rovers can go into Saturday's match against MK Dons full of confidence based on their recent displays.

Whilst the performances haven't brought the points they deserved, the Rovers boss believes if they keep doing the right things on the pitch then the results will follow.

Lambert knows it won't be easy against a Dons side two points below them in the table but he knows that Rovers have the confidence and the belief to get a result.

"Saturday is the same as what I always expect in this league, it will be a really tough game," said the manager.

"But we are going into the game full of confidence and that is the thing for us. It is up to us to keep the standard that we have shown and go and try and win.

"It will be a hard game, but I know that if we go into the game doing what we have been doing then there's a good chance that we can win it.

"It is a big game, a big game for them and a big game for us, but I've got big players in the dressing room who can handle the occasion."
