Two attacking teams

Boss Owen Coyle is predicting a match full of attacking intent when Rovers take on Barnsley this afternoon.

The roses clash sees two goalscoring sides coming up against each other this Boxing Day, and the manager feels it should be an exciting encounter at Oakwell.

"Barnsley are a very good hard working side, they score some goals but they concede goals as well," said Coyle.

"So I don't think there is any doubt that it will be two teams going all out attack trying to win a very important game.

"Barnsley shape up very similar to ourselves so lets go win those individual battles, win that collective battle and win the game.

"What we also have to do is make sure that we are ultra tight at the back.

"We certainly believe there are goals in the team but equally as well we've got to understand that we've got to stop conceding goals through individual errors.

"If we can eradicate them then it will see us start to climb to where we want to be."

Tickets for today's game will be on sale at Oakwell, cash only from the North Stand turnstiles. Prices are £25 Adults, £18 Seniors 65+, and £18 17-21’s.
