Danny Graham was frustrated that his two goals counted for nothing in Saturday's loss to Preston.
The Rovers striker took his goal tally to seven for the season with his brace at Deepdale, but whilst there was delight at getting amongst the goals, there was disappointed it didn't result in a positive result.
"Obviously it is nice to score two goals but at the end of the day we lost the game," Graham told Rovers PlayerHD.
"It was a game of two halves, I think in the second we took the game to them and imposed ourselves, but got hit by the sucker-punch. Everyone is disappointed in there and thank god we've got a game on Tuesday so we can move on.
"It is really tough to take, when you get back in it at 2-2 in the second half we think we are going to go on and win the game, but it wasn't to be so we need to dust ourselves down and go again.
"I thought we penned them in most of the second half, we definitely were on top and I thought we would go on and win the game but it wasn't to be.
"I've scored two goals, I feel as though I did well, but we've lost the game so it is irrelevant.
