Owen Coyle has backed striker Danny Graham to get even better this season.
The former Sunderland forward took his goal tally for the current campaign to eight with a close-range header against Reading at the weekend, his sixth strike in his last six matches.
The manager firmly believes there is more to come from Graham and that he is working hard with the striker to keep improving his game.
"I speak to Danny daily about this but I still genuinely believe there is more to come from him," said the Rovers boss.
"As he'll tell you, every day I try to push him on and I think that the more Danny is fit and available from all this hard training, then it will help him get that sharpness in the games.
"Although he scores goals, he's a player that I think can contribute without scoring because he leads the line, he brings you up the pitch.
"We had to keep driving him on, and I've been there as a striker myself, you never want to get to a stage where he is feeling comfortable, he's got to keep driving every day.
"And to be fair to Danny Graham he is working really hard on the training ground which is great to see."
Rovers are back in action on Boxing Day when they travel to Oakwell to take on Barnsley.
