Rovers make three changes from the side that tasted defeat on Boxing Day at Barnsley.

Into the starting XI come Gordon Greer, Corry Evans and Liam Feeney, as Darragh Lenihan misses out through suspension and Wes Brown and Marvin Emnes drop to the bench.

The hosts also make three changes from their win over Nottingham Forest as Danny Ward replaces Joel Coleman in goal. Dean Whitehead and Chris Lowe come in for Jonathan Hogg and Tareig Holmes-Dennis.

Youngster Lewis Travis makes the bench for Rovers for the first time.
