Having worked under Simon Grayson previously, striker Danny Graham is anticipating a tough match when Rovers take on Preston North End this Saturday evening.
Graham spent a spell under the stewardship of the Preston boss whilst on loan at Blackpool early on in his footballing career, so he knows what kind of side today's opponents will be.
But the Ewood ace, who took his goal tally for this season to five with a penalty in last week's draw with Huddersfield, is confident that Rovers have the experience and quality to get a positive result to continue their rise up the table.
"I'm expecting a tough game," said Graham. "I've worked with Simon Grayson before at Blackpool a few years ago and I know they'll be well-drilled, but we are going to go there and hopefully get the right result.
"If you look around our squad there are a lot of players with a lot of experience and I think we are in a false position and I think we have proved over the last few weeks that we can mix it with the best.
"It is a tight division but first and foremost we just need to continue on this good run and not get ahead of ourselves. It is only three or four games that we've put together and done well, so hopefully we want to keep going as we are and keep pushing up that league and see where it takes us."
Rovers fans who haven't yet bought their tickets for today's game can get them from 3pm at Deepdale from the away ticket office.
