Rovers' development squad return to Premier League 2 action this Monday evening when they take on Stoke City at the Lancs FA, Leyland.

Damien Johnson's young side will be eager to get back to winning ways in the league after they tasted defeat at home to Newcastle United a fortnight ago.

They go into tonight's match boosted by a draw in the Premier League Cup away at Cardiff last time out and come up against a Stoke side that have won just twice this season.

The honours were shared when the two sides met last year. Rovers claimed all three points at Leigh Sports Village thanks to a Connor Thomson goal. With Stoke winning by the same 1-0 scoreline in the corresponding fixture back in January.

With the first team in action against Brighton at Ewood on Tuesday night, Johnson is expected to name a young squad for this evening's match.

Season ticket holders can see the game for free on production of their season ticket cards. General admission prices are £3 for Adults, £1 Concessions.

Kick-off at the County Ground is at 7.00pm.
