Rovers have teamed up with local bus operator The Blackburn Bus Company to offer fans a great deal on travel to all home games at Ewood Park.
A new matchday bus ticket will be available from Saturday December 17th, valid on all Transdev buses in Lancashire, including Hotline, red express and all local services, with two money saving options to choose from – a £3 ‘Rovers’ for travel within Blackburn and a £5 ‘Rovers Lancashire’ ticket giving travel across the Red Rose County.
Shaun Walmsley, General Manager of The Blackburn Bus Company, said: “We’re sure fans who plan to head for Rovers’ home matches will welcome these great value ticket deals as a first class save!
“Our buses can take you right to the doorstep at Ewood Park - the 1 runs between Blackburn, Darwen and Bolton, stopping just outside the stadium. Buses run every 15 minutes on the 1, Monday to Saturday, and up to every 15 minutes on Sundays too, between Darwen and Blackburn.
“This top of the league travel deal will make supporting Rovers easier and cheaper - leaving plenty of spare cash to get the pies in at half-time!”
Danny Davis, Business Development Manager at Blackburn Rovers, added: “This fantastic deal emphasises our intent on supporting local businesses.
“It makes coming to games at Ewood Park even more affordable and for supporters who want to get into the festive spirit, they don’t have to worry about driving home.”
