Rovers boss Owen Coyle will check on a number of bumps and bruises before naming his squad for Saturday's match against Huddersfield Town.
Several players are carrying knocks after last week's win over Newcastle United, but the manager is hopeful that all will have recovered in time for the Ewood Park clash against the Terriers.
Ben Marshall serves a one-match suspension after picking up his fifth booking of the season, but the squad could be boosted by the return of Gordon Greer and Danny Guthrie from injury.
"There are four who have only joined in training today because of the bangs that they had at the weekend," Coyle told Rovers PlayerHD on Thursday.
"But we are hopeful that we will have that squad available that we had last week minus Ben Marshall.
"Gordon Greer and Danny Guthrie have both managed to train with the group today, so hopefully they'll be available for the squad as well."
The manager admits that it will be a blow to be without Marshall, but he would have no qualms in putting in 18-year-old defender Ryan Nyambe for his first league start.
He added: "Being without Ben is a huge frustration because he is a very good player and he's been playing very, very well for us. But it gives somebody else and opportunity to step into that.
"We have a number of options there to slot somebody else in at right back, we also have young Ryan Nyambe who has done fantastic and has been part of my 18. He came on against Brentford and did very well and was also on the bench at Newcastle.
"So if we decide to go that way I'll have no fears about putting in him because we certainly believe and trust in him and think he's a good player who will get better and grow into a very good player for Blackburn Rovers."
