Derrick Williams believes Rovers are heading into Saturday's local derby against Preston in fine form.
Rovers go into the match at Deepdale off the back of seven points from their last three outings and the Irishman feels it shows how far they have come in recent weeks.
The Waterford-born full back knows Rovers didn't hit the same heights against Huddersfield last time out, but felt that their battling display bodes well for the all-Lancashire clash.
"We have had a good run of games recently so I'm really looking forward to it," said Williams.
"I went to see them play not long ago because I know a few players there. It is a good stadium, it is a derby game and one to look forward to.
"We had a great turnout at St. James' Park so I'm really looking forward to it. The fans are coming out in their numbers so credit to them, it keeps us going.
"I think it shows how far we have come because to get seven points out of nine from playing against Brentford, Newcastle and Huddersfield, you'd snap their hand off for that.
"A lot of people are dwelling how bad we played against Huddersfield but I don't think we should be. Yes we had a bad game but we still ended up getting a point against one of the best teams in this league, a great point for us.
"So now we need to make it right and get a win at Preston and keep this good run going.
"Every game we are getting better and better, we are talking more, everyone at the back is helping each other out and I think it has showed. We are getting the blocks in, we are putting our bodies on the line."
