Rovers Ladies picked up a point on their travels in a six-goal thriller with Huddersfield Town on Sunday.
Gemma Donnelly's side went into the weekend match looking to build on their opening day victory over Stoke City, but quickly found themselves 2-0 down to a lively Terriers side.
Rovers pulled a goal back before the break through Saffron Jordan, before a fine volley from Faye McCoy made it all square immediately after the restart.
Rovers then struck the woodwork twice in quick succession as Georgia Stevens and Lynda Shepherd went close, yet it was the home side who regained the lead with just seven minutes to go through Kate Mallin.
But there was still time for the Lancashire club to get back on level terms once more with Jordan grabbing her second of the game, smashing the ball home at the back post on the half-volley to make it 3-3.
Rovers could have snatched the victory at the death, but Jordan was denied a hat-trick thanks to an outstanding save from the Huddersfield keeper.
