Boss Owen Coyle felt the introduction of Sam Gallagher during the second half of last night's match with Cardiff City had a positive impact.

The 20-year-old forward, at the club on a season long loan from Southampton, made his second appearance in Rovers colours and gained an assist as his flick-on lead to Danny Graham getting on the scoresheet.

"I brought him on because I know that he has good pace and he can threaten in behind," said Coyle.

"And I thought he did very well when he came on, he gave us a different dimension."

Rovers return to action this Saturday when Burton Albion visit Ewood Park for the first time.

Tickets are on open sale up until the 3pm kick-off priced from £18 for Adults, £12 Concessions and £7 for Juniors aged 17 and under.

Book now online at, or at the Roverstore, Ewood Park, or by calling the ticket office on 01254 372000.
