The opening game of the new Sky Bet Championship season against Norwich City is set to offer arguably the most exciting off-field package Ewood Park has ever seen!

With the new Blackburn Rovers Community Trust Family Stand opening its doors for the first time, it means that a range of fresh and innovative new features will be available to supporters, especially those attending the game as a family.

The new stand will officially be unveiled at 12.30pm, with manager Owen Coyle cutting the ribbon in a small ceremony and photo opportunity outside the turnstiles.

The doors to the stand will then be open for admission an hour later, where fans will be able to gain access to The GAME Room, receive free fruit bags from McDonald's and enjoy some great new child-friendly features on the concourse.

The GAME Room will be available for children under the age of 16, with six consoles available on a mixture of first-come-first-served and pre-booked options. Saturday's games on offer are FIFA 16 and Minecraft.
McDonald's staff will be making free fruit and nutrition advice available all season within this area, and it's also easier for children to get served at our concourse catering outlets this season, with a dedicated child-only lane - complete with its own raised step - within the Family Stand. Parents carrying babes in arms can also make use of improved baby changing facilities in the same area.

The fun isn't restricted to within the stadium though, with plenty on offer to all outside Ewood Park. The FanZone returns from 12.30pm, as both the bar and the entertainment start again for the new season, with Rangers v Hamilton live on the giant screen. Popular singer songwriter Callum Thomas returns to perform on stage from around 1.50pm and there will also be chance to test the power of your shot as the Penalty Shoot Out Challenge resumes.
With Blues Bar (from 11am) and Strikers Lounge (from midday) both open for business as usual, you won't need to set foot anywhere other than Ewood Park on Saturday!

Secure your tickets for the action now via or arrive early to purchase your seats/season tickets in person from the Blackburn End ticket office from 9am onwards.
