The Level 3 course is pretty much packed to the rafters... but there's still chance to claim one of the final five places on our Level 1 BTEC in Sport.
If you didn't get the grades you needed in Maths or English when your GCSE results came in last week, this year-long course at Ewood Park from Blackburn Rovers Community Trust could be the perfect solution, allowing you to gain qualifications with a sporting backgrounds alongside any re-sits you need in those two key subjects.
The entry requirement is accessible to virtually every high school leaver, with just one GCSE pass and a love for football being the entry requirement, opening the door to a programme where you can enjoy a weekly games programme in the Rovers shirt too.
Every scholar that we enrol enjoys a daily training session alongside their classroom studies, helping them to enhance their football or futsal skills before representing the club at one of the two formats of the game each week.
Record recruitment to the programme this years means that we've expanded the number of tutors delivering the sessions, and allows us to field multiple teams in both the North West Development League (11-a-side) and EFL Trust Futsal League, which will now see Rovers playing regularly in Manchester rather than Leeds.
Full details about the course requirements can be found at www.brfctrust.co.uk
, but make your decision quickly to avoid missing the start of the new term next Monday, 5th September.
If you want to submit a query about enrolling, fill out the enquiry form that you can find here or call 01254 508124 to speak to our head of futsal, Chris McGrail.
