Owen Coyle believes 'tireless worker' Craig Conway can play an important role at the football club.
After a pre-season hampered by injury, the Scottish international started his first league match against former club Cardiff City on Wednesday night.
The Rovers boss has been impressed with the winger's contribution since taking charge early summer, and delighted with his commitment to the cause.
"I said to Craig in pre-season that I felt he would be an important part of what we want to do moving forward.
"I think he epitomises everything you want in a player in your team, he wears his heart on his sleeve, he's a tireless worker and he gives everything he's got. If you had eleven of him in your team you wouldn't go far wrong.
"The frustration is that he got injured in the pre-season so he was delayed in starting the games.
"We got him up and running in the cup with 70 minutes, it was probably too soon to throw him in at the start at Wigan, but since then he has come in.
"If we can keep him fit and healthy then we believe that he has an important role within the club."
Conway and Rovers are back in action this Saturday when Burton Albion are the visitors to Ewood Park.
Tickets for the match are on open sale up until the 3pm kick-off priced from £18 for Adults, £12 Concessions and £7 for Juniors aged 17 and under.
