Owen Coyle believes Rovers have a great chance of reaching the last 16 of the EFL Cup after being drawn with Leeds United.
Whilst the Rovers boss would have preferred a home tie, he is satisfied to be pitted against the fellow Championship side.
"I think in any cup competition you want a home draw and then if you don't get it you are looking for ties that are winnable.
"And I think that the Leeds tie is when it comes around and they will feel the same.
"If we can get past them then it would put you in the last 16 of a major cup competition.
"We all understand the league is the priority, but I've loved cup competitions, both as a player and a manager, and when it comes about we'll make sure we are ready to try and progress into the next round."
The match will be played week commencing 19th September, ticketing and travel arrangements for the tie will be confirmed in due course.
